Andreas,
I thought you might be interested in this new study that was released yesterday. According to a new Surveillance Data Inc. study, the risk of Alzheimer’s Disease & Related Disorders is 42% less among patients treated with IVIG (intravenous immunoglobulin) — suggesting that IVIG may reduce the likelihood that someone will contract Alzheimer’s or related disorders.

Well thank you very much. We appreciate all of the feedback. I hope that our activity suggestions help to make the days and nights more personally meaningful for people with Alzheimer’s and other related dementias.

Hello.
I’m writing on behalf of AAHSA and the Future of Aging Blog. We’ hosting a Congressional Call-In Day on May 13, 2009, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. in an effort to get more senators on board with including long-term services in any upcoming health care reform measures.
I was wondering if you’d be willing to post an announcement either the day before or day of (or both) encouraging your readership to call their senators.
More information, including a phone script, can be found on our site: http://www.aahsa.org/callcongress.aspx
Let me know.
Thanks,
